Lava flow

The term 'Lava flow' as it applies to the area of volcanos can be defined as '   Stream of molten rock that erupts relatively nonexplosively from a volcano and moves slowly downslope.    An outpouring of lava onto the land surface from a vent or fissure. Also, a solidified tonguelike or sheetlike body formed by outpouring lava'.
